So, what are Webmaster Tools?

Webmaster tools are a suite of tools that help you manage your website's health. These crucial to the success of any site, big or small. The best part about these tools is that they're free! You don't have to pay anything in order to use them and learn how they work. In this article, we will go over what webmaster tools are, how you can use them for your site management needs, why it is so important to care about your website's health and Google webmaster guidelines.

How Can I Use Webmasters Tools? There are many reasons as to why a user should be utilizing these particular set of tools but there also may be some users who are not aware of the benefits they can obtain from them.

Let's go over some reasons as to why you should care about your website and how it is doing:

· Improve user experience for search engine users - When using these tools, you can get a better insight on what issues may be causing confusion or lack of information regarding your site(s). Depending on which tool you use, there could also be recommendations that will fix any issues with crawling errors that had previously been found by Googlebot. Search engines like Google want to make sure their consumers have an optimal search result when performing queries so webmasters need to ensure this happens through proper implementation of Webmaster Tools in order to see an increase in direct traffic once the issues have been resolved.

· Get insight on how Google sees your website - This is pretty self-explanatory but it's important to know what information the search engine giant has gathered regarding our site(s). You can get this data through the "HTML Improvements" tab within Webmaster Tools. The section includes details such as whether or not there are any crawling errors, redirects that may be causing an issue and other vital pieces of information which you should utilize in order to ensure optimal performance for both humans & crawlers alike. It will also help identify if certain pages do not need a canonical tag or if they contain too many outbound links, etc...

· Use tools when performing SEO audits - Every SEO professional should be utilizing these tools during the auditing process. It's important to know how Google sees your site and whether or not there are any issues that need immediate attention before they become problematic down the line.

· Ensure proper implementation of schema markup - This is an SEO best practice that can help with rich snippets, appearance in knowledge graph results and other features within SERPs (search engine result pages). These particular webmaster tools allow you to easily implement this for structured data testing as well as validation which will ultimately improve our chances at gaining a higher click-through rate from search engines when we appear in their results page(s) via rich snippet formats such as review stars & product ratings/reviews, etc.

2. How to use Webmaster Tools

Once you've identified which of the tools are best suited for your needs, it's time to get started.

Use Webmaster Tools To Get A Deeper Understanding Of Your Site : This particular tool is designed to help users get an idea on what issues may be plaguing their site(s) in regards to crawling errors etc... It will provide insight into how Googlebot views our sites and pages via indexation stats & crawl rate information. This can also show us if there are any new notifications that have been sent by Google regarding specific areas that they would like you to address or improve upon due to potential risks involved with not doing so (take heed when receiving these). Finally, this tool provides a complete list of all URLs within your site, the last time they were crawled and any issues that may require your immediate attention.

Use Webmaster Tools To Improve Your Site : Once again, this particular tool provides insight into how Google views our website(s). It can help with crawl errors as well as provide information on canonical tags & whether or not you have implemented a no-follow for specific pages/links. Also included in this section is a list of URLs which do not contain a rel=canonical tag along with those that are missing one entirely (these should be addressed within hours if possible because it could cause an issue down the line). Finally, there's an HTML Improvements tab where you're able to view both internal & external links as well as check broken links.

Use Webmaster Tools To Improve Your Rankings : This section provides insight into whether or not you have been affected by a manual penalty within Google's search engine results pages (SERPs). It will include information on canonical tags & page-level redirects, duplicate titles/descriptions which could be causing an issue with click-through rate and the last time your site was in the sandbox (which is a filter designed to protect new sites from spammy behavior until it has established itself as useful for visitors). Also included is data regarding how often particular keywords are triggering our inclusion in SERP features such as Knowledge Graph cards when users search specific terms related to your business/site etc... This also includes additional notifications that might require your attention, such as determining whether or not your site is mobile friendly which can be tested via the Mobile Usability link.

Use Webmaster Tools To Improve Your Rankings : This particular section of webmaster tools allows for analysis on how Googlebot views our sites from a code perspective by offering insight into crawl errors, HTML suggestions & pagination issues (for both internal and external links). You'll also find data regarding 404 error pages which could cause a loss in rankings if they're being generated too often due to an incorrect 301 redirect implementation etc... In addition to this you'll have access to information within XML sitemaps & URL Parameters that could help with indexation rates once these are addressed/correct.

6. Setting up alerts for important notifications that will help with site management

Setting up an alert in Webmaster Tools is simple and can be done in a matter of minutes. In the event that your site is not mobile friendly you will receive a notification from Google webmaster tools regarding this topic. In addition, if any of your important pages were indexed but do not appear in search results for various queries it's possible they're being filtered out due to low quality content or spammy links etc... There are also situations where certain messages might provide insight into better omni-channel marketing campaigns such as focusing on improving bounce rate because users aren't finding what they need when landing on specific pages throughout your website.
